This one product changed how i do bridal makeup …
Every makeup artist has a style. Most can do everything from natural to glam, but essentially, there is one style or technique or finish that brides and clients seek them out for.
If I had to choose what that might be for me - what most brides ask of me time and time again - it would be skin! Making their complexion look like real skin, with a texture and feeling that is lightweight, and an overall finish that is soft, dewy, and glowing.
I have a secret weapon for this type of magic. And I don’t gate keep - so yes, I’ll share it with you.
It’s MAC Strobe Dewy Skin Tint : I carry every other shade from Light to Rich in my kit, and use this as an all over base for every bride.
Sometimes I mix with a bit of liquid luminizer, if I want it to be extra glowy, but I do apply this tint all over the complexion. I buff it in and let it sit. From there, I’ll strategically decide where I want my concealers placed, my cream contours and highlights and if necessarily, extra foundation coverage.
One blended and buffed, the end result is always a finish that is see through in places where it needs to be, and flawlessly filtered in others. If the client loves the feel but needs to be more matte, it’s nothing a little mattifying and finishing powder can’t fix!
Brides and clients all love this end result and walk away feeling fresh, instead of weighed down!
