I love LOVE LLLOOOOVVVEEEEEE working with good friends who happen to be creative, inspiring, and entrepreneurial ...

Sooo, natch, when Ms. Dara of daradotdesigns asked me to do the makeup and hair for her "how-to" video shoot, I said yes!

I adore working with Dara.  We met about two years ago when Dara invited me out for tea. We met up, got to know each other, and decided from there that it would be great to collaborate together ...

Since then, we've only managed to fit in one photoshoot and this videoshoot (she's a busy gal!). Though I wish I could say we've done more, I can't, but I can say that when we do collaborate, I always leave the shoot feeling super duper inspired.

These pics are a behind the scenes peak at her "how-to" video shoot with Justin Borja, my favourite videographer. The video will be edited and looped for Dara to showcase at the One of A Kind Show where she will be setting up shop from November 25 to December 5, 2010. It will show you all the neat ways to wear your dara-accessory!

Before I leave it at that, I have to say I had a beautiful model/actress to work with. Her name is Stephanie Provato, and she made my job, super easy! And last but not least, big thanks to Carly Ekstein who helped style the shoot today. She is a Creative Wardrobe Stylist in the GTA  and looks super cute wearing a turban!
