Everything I need to do will happen in the shower.

Brushing my teeth, combing out the tangles in my hair, shaving the legs and washing the face.  They all happen in the shower for me.  Yes, a fifteen minute shower may sound like a very expensive hydro bill BUT it's fifteen minutes uninterrupted. It just makes sense for me.

Anyway, I found something that makes those fifteen minutes even better.

Olay Complete Ageless Rejuvenating Lathering Cleanser.  (It does live up to its very long name!)

The Olay Complete line is about moisturizing and protecting the skin.  The latest additions to the line, the Ageless products, are about renewing the skin. This particular cleanser is gentle but effective.  It refreshes my skin and also has little teeny microbeads to help exfoliate and slough away dead skin cells and dry skin.  It lathers like a creamy cleanser and scrubs like an exfoliant but it doesn't feel harsh on the skin.  There is no tearing or tugging like other facial scrubs.

I apply this generously in the shower, scrub away, and then rinse.  It leaves my skin feeling awake and alive and hydrated.  My skin has been glowing lately and looks so much better.  Definitely worth a thumbs up ... and the ridiculously expensive hydro bill.

Imagine being able to wake up feeling rested, relaxed and beautiful.

I can't remember the last time I truly felt extremely rested, relaxed and beautiful. Actually, it may have been six years ago just before I had Brayden. Ha.  Truth is, when you have kids, you lose sleep.  You can't do anything until they are in bed, and once they are in bed, you burn the midnight oil doing work, chores, and other mom/careerwoman/wife like things. So really who has time to sleep?

Don't underestimate what you can find at the drugstore ...

Cosmetic brands like Cover Girl, Maybelline and Rimmel are bringing their A game when it comes to foundations.  While bp will always advocate spending big money on a high end foundation if it matches your skintone, doesn't irritate your skin and makes you look and feel good, bp ALSO endorses browsing the drugstore if you're in search of something new for your foundation needs.  Here are a couple of current finds.

Cover Girl & Olay Simply Ageless Foundation: Two classic drugstore brand favourites pair up to create a full coverage foundation that smooths over fine lines and wrinkles to give a youthful appearance.  It contains an SPF of 22 as well as Olay Regenerist Serum to help prevent the foundation from settling into fine lines.

Olay Definity Color Recapture: My favourite tinted moisturizer from the drugstore.  The sheer coverage of the tint brightens the skin and but can still even skintone and mask imperfection.  A great product to have to prevent the signs of aging. 

Almay Smart Shade Makeup: It used to be really hard to find a drugstore foundation that matched your skintone perfectly - not anymore.  This foundation comes in three general shades which instantly adjusts to match your true tone within seconds of applying it.  So easy.
