Meet The Beauty Board of October 25, 2009

So there you go ... reviews and more reviews.

That's it!  The reviews are in, posted and all here for your review.  For the past two weeks, you've been given the total inside scoop on beauty candy - from the packaging to the goodies contained inside. 

And the great thing about these reviews? They were given by people like me, like you, like us!

The ladies of the Beauty Board are local Ontarians - though shout out to Ayla who came from QUEBEC (maybe I can do a Quebec based Beauty Board????) - they are admininstrative staff, entrepreneurs, management, professionals, mommies, teens, partygirls and homebodies.  A perfect mix of what makes women really cooooool!

We hope you enjoyed the reviews, are armed with information, and can make your next trip to the beauty counters confident about your choices!

It's okay to be a little biased.

Maybe it isn't ... but today, I make the exception.

Even though Beauty Boarders were busy with reviewing all the great product they still had time to say some fresh. beautiful things about BlushPretty and the Beauty Board.

To everyone who came out that night to support the event - THANK YOU!  Couldn't have done it without you.  Reading your reviews that were filled with appreciation, encouragement and constructive feedback only makes me want to make the next Beauty Board better, more fun, and filled with more beauty.

So again ... THANK YOU!

Beauty Board is great to try out products that you can't try at the drugstores.  I liked the addition of DaLish because its a brand not available at the stores I can easily get to.  I've checked out the website but am hesitant to buy without being able to try it out before committing.  I think it's a great idea to have companies with a rep to explain their products. – Alysia I..

Love It: dermaglow Hydration Fix

You have to admit, the product was the perfect fit ...

Given that the theme of the night was H-Y-D-R-A-T-I-O-N, it was only fitting that dermaglow showcased their Hydration Fix serum, which focuses on restoring dehydrated skin and providing relief to rough and flaky skin.

dermaglow reps were present at the Beauty Board offering information and skincare tips for not only this featured product and some of their other top products as well.  Another particular favourite was the Ageless Primer.

Whatever the product, the verdict is in: LOVE IT!

dermaglow is definitely a premium brand at the local drugstores but well worth the investment!  Check them out at Shoppers Drug Mart!

Love It: Cake Milk Made Smoothing Hand and Cuticle Butter

Clearly a winner. 

The Beauty Board event is definitely fun.  It can also get messy.  But if the end result is soft, beautiful, and silky hands - than we can overlook the messy part.

Cake Beauty's Milk Made Smoothing Hand and Cuticle Butter received rave reviews from the Beauty Boarders.  While there is a bit of back and forth on the scent, (some found it delicious, others found it a little too strong) there was no denying that everyone left with perfectly smooth hands and finger tips. Hands down, this scrub did the trick!
