my hair just grows really fast ... seriously
Probably not, because every knows about extensions. :P
Still, some brides are a tiny bit hesitant about growing their hair overnight. Many think that "extensions" involve sewing or gluing hair in, which in all fairness sounds time-consuming, cumbersome, and painful. They also are acutely aware about extensions not being their real hair and don't want to be fake.
But there is nothing wrong about bringing in a little "fake" on your wedding day. Extensions are a "good" lie.
The easiest way to get long hair overnight, without the pain, are CLIP IN extensions. No, not one of those hair claws that has long curly hair attached to it (gosh, no), but something along the lines of Jessica Simpson's HairDo line or Racquel Welch's signature line (or any non-celebrity endorsed brand that does the same thing).
Something like the HairDo line, which are made of synthetic hair, have pieces that are already curled and styled making it super easy and super fast to get your wedding day hair. You or your artist can style your real hair around the extensions to match.
If you prefer to have your hair piece simple and straight so that your stylist can create your complete look from scratch, you can get clip-in extensions in human hair. This is better than synthetic because you can straighten, curl and wash the hair as you would your own (synthetic does not do so well with hot irons and goop). On top of that, it's really easy to find these extensions in a colour that closely matches your. Even if it doesn't - remember it's real hair - so you can dye it to match too.
Extensions are definitely something to consider if you have hair that just never seems to grow. Talk with your stylist or artist well in advance of your wedding day and let her know your plans about using extensions. They can offer you a lot of knowledge and assistance to getting the right piece for your wedding day hair to make you look perfect ... because you should look perfect and there ain't nothing fake about that!
