And now the questions ...
1. You woke up late and have ten minutes to get ready and out the door. What is the beauty routine and list the products you would use.
My approach to beauty products is very simple and very clean. I use only organic and natural products. I have discovered many new and amazing products over the years, but my current routine is this: washing my face with Sea Flora Cleanser, and then spraying on some Sea Flora Toner and then rubbing in a pump of Sea Flora moisturizer.
Sea Flora is an organic, raw vegan product made from seaweed. My skin feels so soft and supple afterwords, plus it absorbs really quickly leaving no residue. Then I am able to apply a thin layer of mineral foundation and a touch of all natural mascara from ZUZU.
2. You have ten dollars to spend on beauty product with no coupon to spare nor membership points to redeem. What would you buy and from where?
If I had ten dollars to spend. I would most likely go for an organic moisture stick from DEEP STEEP. I delicious stick that can be used anywhere that needs moisturizing. I carry mine (rosemary mint) with me everyday!
Hmmm. Since most of my organic products cost around $60 or more. I would most likely go for Evan Healy's Rosehip Treatment Facial Oil. It is a really quick absorbing oil that feels amazing - and it also helps to heal and regenerate the skin.
4. Share with us your biggest beauty secret – either a hot tip for us to try ... or your worst beauty disaster ever. Which one will it be?
My biggest beauty secret is when my face is feeling really dry and in need of some extra moisture - I am a big fan of mashing up a ripe avocado and rubbing it all over my face. It is so nourishing and makes your skin glow. If avocados are good enough to eat - they are good enough for your skin!
5. Name your poison. Facials worth more than your rent payment, a $2.99 bottle of nail polish that everyone mistakes for Chanel’s latest colour. What’s your guilty beauty pleasure?
Well if I was to pick one, and I am not even sure this is legit...I would have to say that it is the fact that I am able to use my virgin coconut oil as an all over moisturizer. It is so decadent and rich that people always ask why my hands are so soft and smell so good. It is the same oil I use in the kitchen - but it is so pure and so natural that I love to smother it on my whole body!
