Have you ever fell in love with a bright colour but are too scared to wear it?
It's definitely easy to fall in love with a bright fuschia lipstick or a deep bold cranberry eyeshadow. Yet, it's so hard to actually gain the courage to wear it - especially if you normally wear neutral, subdued colours.
To make a bright or bold or standout colour work for you can try a couple of things, such as:
Anchor a bold eyeshadow with a darker neutral: This will make the bold colour more wearable but at the same time, more noticeable. Start by using a black or brown liner first. Smudge it over the top lashline and bring it upward. Then blend in the bold colour by shading the lid. Finish by blending the two colours together. If you wish, you can also apply your darker neutral to the outer third of the eye and blend it inwards. This way the bold colour will peek through.
Base a bright lipstick with a deeper lipliner or top a bright lipstick with a deeper gloss: Just like layering clothes, you can layer your lip products to create a warmer, deeper, shimmer-ier (that's probably not a real word - lol) colour. The trick to this is to try and stay within 1 to 2 shades of the bright colour. Any more than that and you might have well as bought a completely different colour!
Apply a cheeky-bright blush colour first: If you are going with a strong cheek colour, try applying it before your foundation. You will still get a bold glow, but it will look a little more natural coming from underneath your foundation than sitting over it! You can also try applying it sparingly. Instead of swiping it up from the cheek bone to the temple, apply it just on the cheekbone, just over the temples, or just on the apples. Use a more natural shade around it.
Try it out!

Brilliant. I think this will also keep a lot of women from looking like clowns. Hopefully...
